Saturday 19th October , 7:00pm
Bishop’s Stortford Sinfonia is opening a magical new season of concerts with an enchanting evening of musical fairytales. Our evening concert begins with the toe-tapping overture from Ethel Smyth’s opera, The Boatswain’s Mate, followed by Grieg’s evocative Peer Gynt Suite. However, the highlight of this programme is Rimsky-Korsakov’s magical setting of the story of Scheherazade – a delight for audiences of all ages.
